Introducing the latest innovation in dummies, designed and manufactured with care right here in Melbourne, Australia.

CMC Gold dummies are proudly Australian-owned and the result of over two and a half years of careful design, rigorous testing, and expert manufacturing. These dummies not only offer an aesthetically pleasing look but have also been engineered with safety, practicality, and adaptability for all ages in mind.

What is a vented teat?

A vented teat allows air to flow in and out, ensuring comfort for your baby. As your little one sucks on the dummy, the teat flattens naturally in their mouth, providing a soothing experience.

Many popular dummy brands, including BIBS, Frigg, Avent, and Nuk, feature vented teats.

After sterilising your dummy, if water enters the teat, simply follow the instructions provided on the packaging. Be sure to squeeze out any excess water before offering the dummy to your baby.

Why use a dummy?

Dummies are a great way to comfort your baby and can help prevent thumb-sucking habits, which are often harder to break. We recommend gradually weaning your baby off their dummy by age 2 to avoid any potential issues with jaw development or tooth alignment.

Replacement Guidelines:

  • Replace your dummy every 4-6 weeks for optimal hygiene and safety.
  • Each dummy comes with a protective cap for cleanliness and convenience.

Key Features:

  • Safety First: CMC Gold dummies are 100% free from BPA, PVC, and phthalates.
  • Natural Rubber Teat: The dummies feature a 100% natural rubber teat, tested and compliant with AS 2432:2015 Australian safety standards.
  • Multiple Sizes:
    • Size 1: Ideal for newborns to 6 months.
    • Size 2: Perfect for babies 6 months and older.
    • Size 3: Suitable for babies aged 18 months and beyond.

The three size options ensure that as your baby grows, their dummy can be easily upgraded for continued comfort and fit.

Materials:

  • BPA, PVC, and phthalates free for peace of mind.
  • Available in natural rubber latex in sizes 1, 2, and 3.

Safety and Care Instructions:

  • Designed and tested in accordance with AS 2432:2015 and AS/NZS ISO 8124.3 safety standards.

Sterilisation:
To sterilise, place the dummy in a cup of boiling water for 5 minutes, then remove and allow it to dry. Avoid leaving the dummy in the water for longer than 5 minutes, as this may cause the natural rubber teat to thin prematurely (though this won't impact the function). Never boil the dummy on the stove, as this may damage or melt the plastic. Keep the dummy out of direct sunlight and always refer to the care instructions provided inside the packaging.

If water enters the teat during sterilisation, squeeze the teat gently to release the trapped water.

CMC Gold dummies are a safe, stylish, and practical choice for soothing your baby, designed with the highest care and attention to detail
